A Beautiful Japanese Garden in Autumn
by TonyDasilva on October 23, 2012
Autumn in Portland turns the trees the rains built into brilliant shades of red and yellow. I decided a walk through the trees would be the best way to rejuvenate on a day off work. A Google search of “fall in Portland” guided me to Portland Japanese Garden.
“Proclaimed the most authentic Japanese garden outside of Japan, the Portland Japanese Garden is a 5.5-acre haven of tranquil beauty that is open year-round,” the brochure declares. Regardless of its authenticity, I do declare this an autumn treasure. I can’t wait to return once the snows start falling.
