Join Team in Training Connecticut for a Hike in Yosemite
Looking to get in shape this Spring? Want to help find a cure for cancer? Ever wanted to hike in Yosemite National Park? Do you know someone affected by Leukemia or Lymphoma? If your answer to any of those questions is yes, keep reading. Rhonda Voos will be coaching Connecticut’s only Team in Training Hike Team. Team in Training raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS funds cancer research and provides patient services for people undergoing treatment. We train beginning March 1, 2014, taking weekly hikes around the state. On June 12th we fly to California to do our day hike in Yosemite! Try us out February 16! We are hosting a recruitment hike at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden. Meet us at 9:45am at the main parking area to hike at 10:00am, ready to hit the trails.
