This Month is all about INITIATIVE! - By: Yadelina
What does that mean? Initiative means you are independent. You set certain goals for yourself that you want to achieve later on in life. For example, my goal this year is to make honors. I show initiative by setting some daily goals like completing homework, dressing for success, paying attention in class, and so much more. You can show initiative in many ways and in your own way!
One topic we have been discussing is: How do you own your education? Well, I know how I own mine. I own mine by showing I care about my education. I complete my daily homework and class work. I stayed prepared and I keep my mind set on my goals. Owning your education is a part of showing initiative!
So, keep this in mind and show it for the month of September!
Bishop Woods Executive Academy Pep Rally - By: Courtney
That word means responsible, ready, prepared, and so much more. Then our school band played a song called Northridge Overture. I’m in the band, and we were AMAZING! We had guest speakers, Jenna Tremblay and Tony Rescigno, talk about how we should go to college and graduate and get a good career.
Bishop Woods Executive Academy has a saying:
I say I can, I make a plan, I get right to it, And then I do it. And it’s true!

Then we had 2 guest speakers named Jenna Tremblay and Tony Rescigno. They talked to us and told us tips on how we could get ready and be prepared for college.
