Yes, that is right, there is a place to go downhill skiing in Rhode Island. While it doesn’t quite compare to the resorts of Vermont and New Hampshire, Yawgoo Valley, is the only ski area in Rhode Island. If you want to hit the slopes and just can’t make time for the drive up north head over to Exeter, RI. Less than 20 minutes from our Wakefield Denali store Yawgoo Valley offers skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. They also offer night skiing so you can get some turns in after work.
