And Their Off: CT Centennial SoJourn is on the road
Yesterday marked the kick off of the Connecticut State Parks Centennial SoJourn. This ten day journey across Connecticut will see a core group of participants cover over 120 miles by bike, boat, and train. Along the way the group will stop at various state parks to take part in different activities. Day #1 saw the group head out from Quaddick State Park in Thompson on bike toward Mashamoquet Brook State Park.
We set up Ranger Russ from the Meigs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Beach State Park with our company GoPro. Throughout the 10 days we will be checking in with him on how things are going. We also recommended that he get a Goal Zero Solar Charger to keep the GoPro charged. If you would like to join in for any of the days be sure to visit the State DEEP website for the schedule.
