CT Centennial SoJourn Part I

Over the weekend we were able to catch up with Ranger Russ of the Meigs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Beach State Park to see how the Connecticut State Parks Centennial SoJourn has been going. We also wanted to snag the video from our GoPro camera that he has been borrowing.

So far things have been going great except for some blown tires and other mechanical issues with some of the bicycles. Luckily, Pedal Power of Middletown was able to step in and help out the riders with their bikes over the weekend.

The SoJourn is now moving into the middle of the state with some upcoming paddling along the Connecticut River. Armed with our GoPro and his Goal Zero Solar Panels we can’t wait to see what Ranger Russ has for us next. Until then enjoy some clips from cycling along in the northwestern part of Connecticut.
