Post image for “Food Matters” Let’s the Food be Your Medicine

“Let thy Food be thy Medicine and thy Medicine be thy Food” – Hippocrates.

That is the message from the founding father of modern medicine echoed in the controversial new documentary film Food Matters, from Producer-Directors James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch. I discovered it on Netflix Instant this week and it altered the way I now perceive my nutritional intake.

I’m a guy that likes facts behind novel ideas. Food Matters takes a way of looking at your diet and points you in the direction of statistics and facts to back up how easy it is to eat healthy. Results like a disease free body and mental health are two  major results from staying on a nutritious and healthy organic diet.

Sure, organic fresh food may cost a bit more, but it sure beats the amount of money you’ll end up spending on doctor’s visits and medication over the course of your life.

Have a look at the trailer and definitely check out the film. - Tony
