While road-runners are getting lighter with their footwear choices; the trend is “hitting the trails” too.

Before your next trail run , stop by one of our locations and try a pair on!

When running trails, keep these tips in mind:

  • Often, the terrain is more varied then the road. Keep your eyes a step or two in front of your feet.
  • Remember that poison ivy can grow along side good routes; if you get a bad reaction, beware where it grows.
  • Some trails go above tree-line or in an exposed area. Sunscreen is just as important here as on a sunny street. On hot days, snakes will sometimes stretch out in the sun; LOOK OUT!!!
  • Lastly , and most importantly, let someone know of your route/itinerary and when you are running
