knee pain

Does your back hurt, your knees, your feet? Do you have problems with plantar fasciitis? Don’t keep blaming the problems on your shoes. The real problem might be with your feet. Your feet are the foundation of your body. Think about all of the weight, stress, and pressure that are put on your feet everyday just standing. Add in running and you could be increasing that stress on your joints 5 fold. With 19 muscles, 28 bones, and 112 ligaments there is a lot going on in your feet. Having a good shoe may not be enough. The inside of your shoe is flat, yet your foot has an arch. This doesn’t add up. Being on your feet a lot can be taxing to the 33 joints in each foot. If you have joints that aren’t aligned in your feet this can cause joints all the way up to your neck to be out of whack.

Taking out the factory insoles and adding Superfeet to your shoes can make a big difference for some people. Superfeet promote skeletal alignment by supporting the arch of your foot and cradling your heel.  This firm foundation decreases muscle fatigue and provides better shock absorption in the heel. If you are an over pronator, your arch collapses in, Superfeet will help to increase medial stability and reduce foot elongation. For supinators, when your feet turn out, Superfeet allow for more efficient weight distribution.

A big reason that many people come in looking for insoles is that they are experiencing plantar fasciitis, the inflammation of the plantar fascia ligament that runs on the bottom of the foot. Wearing Superfeet can help reduce the pain experienced from the inflammation. The Superfeet act as support under your foot which can help slow pronation and over-stretching of the ligament.

Here is Superfeet’s breakdown of their different types of insoles.
