Brief Description
The Branford Rotary Y RUN and WALK event will raise money for theSoundview Family YMCA and the Branford Rotary Foundation. The Y Run & Walk will be held on Thanksgiving morning at 9 a.m. from the Walsh Intermediate School. The certified 5K race/walk course will run through Branford’s beautiful Pine Orchard neighborhood. New this year- costume contest & more kid’s activities!

Waived entry fee for those who donate $100 or more to the Soundview YMCA or Branford Rotary Foundation. Please email jbsports@snet.net for the password for a waived entry fee.

- The 5K race/walk’s certified course runs through Branford’s beautiful Pine Orchard section. The 5K begins at 9:10 a.m.
- Mail-in registration forms are available here: 5K Run/Walk Kids Fun Run
- The Branford Rotary Y Run & Walk raises money the new Soundview Family YMCA and the Branford Rotary Foundation.
- Kids Fun Run Begins at 9 a.m. Starts and finishes before the 5K.
- Packet pickup: Trailblazer, 1004 Main St., Branford / Nov. 20 & 21 / Noon-6pm
- T-shirts: Given to all registered participants and the first 100 raceday entrants
- Thanksgiving Family Festival: Stick around after the race for food, refreshments, face painting and tons of games for the kids!
Awards: Top three race finishers in each division. Men & Women, 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and Wheelchair. The first male and female Branford resident also receive awards.
