Post image for West Rock’s Winter Wonderland: Early Morning Snow Hike

My special lady and I took a hike up to and at West Rock Park this week in the morning right after the snowfall.  I know what you’re thinking. Which snowfall? Well, one of them…

We were surprised by the amount of cars in the parking lot. It seemed as though many had the same idea as we did. West Rock was a completely different place. The trails were hidden by  a thick snow blanket, but replaced by new cross country ski tracks around the entire lake. We met some friendly people, took some pics, carved out some snow angels, and appreciated the state we live in a little more. Check out some of our pics below and keep in mind all we had was an iPhone. – Tony
